Hello everyone, and Manava on my first blog

I am delighted to share with you an essential part of my life and identity: the islands of French Polynesia. Native of Tahiti, with deep roots in Makemo (see photo above), an atoll located an hour away by plane in the Tuamotu archipelago, I wish to take you on a journey through these paradise islands and make you discover the richness of our culture, and promote the natural beauty of the Polynesian women.

My story begins in Tahiti, the main island of French Polynesia, known for its breathtaking landscapes, white sand beaches and turquoise waters. But my heart also belongs to Makemo, a small atoll located in the Tuamotus, a place where time seems to stand still and nature reigns supreme.

My story begins in Tahiti Makemo is a hidden gem, with crystal clear lagoons, pristine beaches and a warm, welcoming community.

Since my childhood, Polynesian culture has always been at the center of my life. My mother, a talented Tahitian dancer, introduced me to traditional dance at a young age. Tahitian dance, with its graceful movements and costumes, is a celebration of our history and my heritage has accompanied me everywhere I have gone, in France where I have always lived.

It was while talking with my sister, who I am very close to, the face of my brand that you will find in the picture, who lives in Tahiti, that the idea of creating my own cosmetic brand was born.

We realized that there were few products on the market that truly represented the beauty and richness of our islands.

Thus, Hawaikii was born, a brand dedicated to promoting Polynesian beauty and sharing with the world the beauty secrets of the vahiné through cosmetics.

Hawaikii is not just a cosmetics brand, it is an invitation to discover and appreciate the authentic beauty of French Polynesia.

Today, I invite you to discover the island of Makemo located in the Tuamotus (see Map).

Makemo, with its breathtaking landscapes and rich biodiversity, is a constant source of inspiration for me. This atoll, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, is a place where one can truly reconnect with nature. The clear waters and coral reefs are home to a multitude of marine life, while the white sand beaches provide the perfect place to relax. The people of Makemo live in harmony with their environment, and their simple yet enriching way of life is something I wanted to share with you.
